How to map FTP drive in Windows Vista
Here is how you map to an FTP location so you don’t have to continuously have to log in.
First, go to “Computer”, towards the top, you see a button called “Map Network Drive”.
At the bottom you see a link that says “connect to a website where you can store files or whatever”.
Click “Next” and highlight “Choose a Custom Network Location”.
Click “Next” and type in your FTP address, IE: ftp://yourdomain.com.
Uncheck the “log in anonymously” check box, and type in your user name.
Click “Next” and “Next”, the window will open, enter your password and select the check box that says “remember Password”.
That’s it! you just mapped to your FTP location… Now don’t you feel better already?
